The Town FC is excited to announce that long standing Bay Area youth soccer Director Mani Salimpour has joined The Town Council. Mani joins The Town FC as current Director of Coaching and Player Development for East Bay youth soccer club San Ramon FC, an organization our project has been collaborating with throughout this Fall period as we both gear up for 2023. Salimpour brings a wealth of experience from his 20+ year career in the Bay Area and East Bay soccer community, and has spent the last several years overseeing the NPSL and WPSL programs for San Ramon while building highly competitive rosters composed of top youth, collegiate and former professional players.
Beyond his work with San Ramon FC, Salimpur also serves as a senior coach with the Player Development Program (PDP) operated by NorCal Premier Soccer League, which brings together top regional and state youth talent to compete in high level training and games, including international competition. In his work with both SRFC and PDP, Mani has distinguished himself as a highly qualified coach, and player development specialist, and brings an extensive personal and professional network to our effort as we seek to grow collaboration in the region amongst like minded organizations committed to growing the game.
Town FC Co-Founder EL Johnson had this to say about the addition of Mani to the Town Council: “We’re thrilled to have someone of Mani’s caliber helping us build our Men’s program. The work he’s done getting our guys ready for the the past two scrimmages we’ve had has been tremendous and we look forward to building on that progress under Mani’s watch.”
Please join us in welcoming Mani to The Town FC!
