Squad opens inaugural season March 17 on the road at LA Galaxy II

SAN JOSE AND MORAGA, Calif. – The San Jose Earthquakes and Town FC announced today their roster for the 2024 MLS NEXT Pro season, with nine players signed to MLS NEXT Pro contracts. The team will also be supported by young first-team players, including goalkeeper Mikołaj Biegański and teenage Homegrown Players Cruz Medina, Edwyn Mendoza, Emi Ochoa, and Oscar Verhoeven, as well as select Quakes Academy players.

Additionally, MLS SuperDraft selections Beau Leroux and Riley Lynch have been signed to MLS NEXT Pro contracts for the 2024 season. Leroux was selected in the second round (no. 42 overall) out of San Jose State, and Lynch in the third round (no. 71 overall), out of Saint Mary’s College.

Notable Quakes Academy players that will feature in the 2024 season are Daniel Fregoso, Arseni Metelitsa, Samuel Navarrete, John Nicolson, Kevin Oseguera, Jermaine Spivey, Roka Tsunehara. Midfielder Alex Chow will also be returning to the MLS NEXT Pro side this season for his third season. The Town FC will open its season against LA Galaxy II on the road on Sunday, March 17. Kickoff is slated for 5 p.m. PT and will be broadcast globally on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
