The Town FC is pleased to announce the addition of Neal Hubman to The Town Council as we continue to grow our Movement by People for The Town. Neal brings immeasurable talent and experience to our journey and has helped build global platforms, and the teams that drive them, which have redefined how communities can take shape to better the world. As a multi-sport athlete growing up, Hubman played soccer through his childhood and teenage years before fully focusing on baseball. He would go on to play collegiately at Bakersfield College before transferring to Sonoma State University, an NCAA division 2 program competing in the CCAA.
Following his collegiate career, Neal moved into tech, spending several years at Google before transitioning as an early founder of Reddit’s Brand Partnerships team. Over the past six years, he has launched many of Reddit’s most integral teams, all the while helping emerging and digital native brands harness the untapped potential of Reddit’s 52 million daily active users and 100,000+ online communities. In his current role, Neal leads Global Client Solutions which comprises Creative Strategy (KarmaLab), Measurement, Product Specialists, and Partner Enablement teams.
A native of Fresno, California, Neal now lives in the Bay Area with his wife and two daughters.
The Town FC cofounder, EL Johnson, had this to say on Neal’s joining the club. “As we have set out to build this movement, our thesis has always been set on the belief that true community best resides within the interconnectivity experienced when people get the chance to come together. Neal has not only helped build highly successful businesses, but he has done so through growing authentic and accessible communities which have then enabled successful enterprises to take shape.
As we continue to grow The Town FC and work to deliver a community to our region that can unite people through the spirit of sport, we are beyond humbled to add a person of Neal’s professional caliber and personal integrity to our mission. We undertake this work for the past, present and future generations of people who live here and who call The Town home. We’re honored to add Neal to that endeavor and look forward to building The Town FC with him.”
