First Representation of Soon to be Expanded Adult Open Programming
The Town, CA – The Town FC has announced the launch of a new adult soccer program, The Town Plays, and will begin fielding Adult Open and Competitive teams to compete in local league competitions around the East Bay. To kick things off, the club will be initially participating in a women’s soccer league at SoFive in Alameda, California. Starting on Monday, November 6th, 2023, the league will be hosted at SoFive’s state-of-the-art indoor soccer facility, equipped with FIFA futsal regulated synthetic turf fields, rebound walls, and video replay technology for post-game analysis.
The Town FC’s initial team for this exciting league includes a roster of current and past pros as well as up-and-coming talent and will be led by Gina Woodward, a cofounder of the club. “The program at SoFive provides The Town FC with an incredible opportunity to continue expanding our community engagement and fostering the growth of women’s soccer in Alameda and the surrounding areas,” said Woodward for The Town FC. “We are committed to expanding opportunities for people to come together to play, and to enjoy soccer as a part of a larger community of local friends, fans of the sport, and supporters of The Town FC.”
Since its inception in early 2022, The Town FC has been dedicated to providing programs for players of all ages and skill levels, from youth development to adult leagues and on to professional levels of play. The Town Plays is the latest addition to The Town FC’s diverse offerings and the first of many more adult team programs they will be offering throughout the East Bay and which interested players will be able to register for at a soon to be announced date.
