The Town Futures Project Refocuses as a Professional Development Program

Announces a Strong Coalition of Local Soccer Leaders to Kick-off its 2024 Programing

The Town Futures Project

The Town, CA – The Town FC is excited to share news of a relaunch of its previously announced community impact initiative, The Town Futures Project, shifting the specific focus of the effort to the professional development of the region’s top soccer talent.

“The Town Futures Project was originally created to leverage the power of soccer as a vehicle for strengthening communities and to represent the clubs commitment to supporting healthy living and positive life outcomes for young people throughout the East Bay region,” said Tennyson Wilson, Head of Club Affairs for The Town FC. “Through this new development The Town Futures Project will evolve to form a community soccer collective, and will bring together the East Bay’s best amateur players for high level competition, including games against professional teams.”

The program will be led by a collaborative group of the region’s top soccer professionals and will kick-off in the Spring of 2024 through a series of open trainings, closed door exhibitions and community soccer events.  In operating under a “national team” style format, players will be invited in for training experiences and high level games while still remaining a dedicated member within their current club environments.  The inaugural men’s program boasts a diverse roster of highly accomplished local soccer experts, covering an extensive network of athletes and elite levels of competition.
